Corrie Ten Boom said “Don’t pray when you feel like it. Have an appointment with the Lord and keep it. A man is powerful on his knees.” and the Bible say in Ephesians 6:18 “… praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints …”
How you begin a thing has a lot to do with how you finish it. A year in the life of a human being is not a small thing or thing to be played with.So thanking God for the outgoing year and asking for His direction, blessing, favour and grace for the incoming one is very essential in the life of a Christian.
