Pastor Richard Jama, the Senior Pastor of New Life Bible Church, gave his life to the Lord in 1978, while in secondary school in Nigeria. He got filled with the Holy Spirit 4 years later in December 1982 and started preaching the following year.
A banker by training, he worked in the financial industry for 9 years, during which time he was involved with the Full Gospel Business Fellowship International in the town where he worked in Nigeria. He held several posts there including the presidency for 2 years. He entered full-time ministry in March 1995.
Pastor Jama served as an Associate Pastor for many years at Gospel Miracle Church, Jos, Nigeria, and New Life Bible Church, Bethnal Green, London where he is now the Resident Pastor.
Pastor Richard who is a Teacher by calling with emphasis on the Holy Spirit, Prayers, and the Character of Jesus has recently authored his first book “The Effective Church Worker” which is bringing in a lot of testimonies to God’s glory. He is married to Toyin – a powerful worship leader and they are blessed with two daughters.
