Christmas Message from Pastor Richard Jama

23/12/2011 by admin Leave a Comment

Greetings in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
This time of the year usually brings with it two things: How the year has been and what expectations to have for the following year. But then also there is where you artinsele, at the moment due to how the year has been and how you see next year – and your expectations of it.

However the year has been, the Word of God says:

Matthew 4:16 (KJV)

 16The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.

Psalm 112:4 (NKJV)

 4 Unto the upright there arises light in the darkness;
         He is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.

May be as a result of the hand of the enemy you have sat in darkness or in the region of the shadow of death (almost giving up) but Christmas time is a time look up and remember that light (help, deliverance, salvation, lifting up etc) is here. That is why John the Baptist and Jesus said “…the kingdom of Heaven is at hand” MATTHEW 3:2, 4:17.
That means that help is here; salvation is here; deliverance is here, because the manifestation of the Kingdom of Heaven brings with it all these – and more.

We want to encourage you to continue to strive to live an upright life because it is for the upright that light springs up even out of darkness (seemingly helpless situation). Remember that we have already been made righteous through Jesus Christ, but living an upright life is our responsibility because the life of Christ in us gives us the capacity to.

We pray that God will help you look up to Him, and that His countenance will shine upon you in every situation causing you to see light (hope) and showing you the way out in Jesus name.

Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a blessed new year.

Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our Faith.

God bless you all.

In Him,

Pastor Richard & Toyin Jama.
